Tear trough fillers allow patients to take on more of a youthful looking appearance. They aim to treat tired looking eyes, dark undereye circles and undereye bags. As fat pads slip away from the eye area, this causes bulging and hollows. We use hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers that restore your skin’s supply of HA, a naturally occurring substance that often starts to deplete in your 20s. Fillers will also stimulate the production of collagen, which again, declines as we age.

Patients will require 1 treatment every 12-18 months on average depending on the product used. This will be discussed during your consultation.

Prior to treatment we will take a full medical history to assess your suitability. If we are confident that we can meet your expectations then treatment can be carried out.

The needles used are fine so discomfort is usually minimal. We can also use a numbing cream if you are concerned.
All patients are invited to attend an initial consultation prior to having treatment. This will usually last 20 minutes. Treatment will normally take a further 30 minutes depending on your concerns.
